This stunning London wedding was such a pleasure to capture. Megan & Alex's wedding preparations began at the charming Zetter Townhouse in Clerkenwell, London. Megan was with the girls having her hair and makeup done and the boys were next door drinking whisky and getting ready. It was my first time shooting as a wedding videographer in London, believe it or not, I actually shot a wedding in New York before London which is ironic as I'm UK based.

Zetter Townhouse was a lovely setting for their preparations, although it was in December the large bay windows provided us with some gorgeous natural light during their preparations. Megan had her makeup done next to the window which allowed me to use the available light we had to create some lovely shots. Megan and Alex had chosen the classic red buses as their choice of transport to their ceremony setting which was St Vedast Alias Foster. I jumped in with the boys as they made their way on the bus to the ceremony, it was great to capture these building moments of anticipation as it made its way over to St Vedast Alias Foster through central London.

St Vedast Alias Foster was such an elegant church for their wedding ceremony and provided a magical location for them and family/friends as they tied the knot. There were some emotional readings during the wedding ceremony, I knew these readings would make the perfect narrative for their wedding videos. They were heartfelt and completely unique to the couple!

After the ceremony, all of the wedding guests headed into the courtyard for mulled wine and mince pies. The photography team and I headed over with the couple to capture some portraits from Maddisons Rooftop. This setting blew me away, the rooftop was right next to St Paul's Cathedral, so we managed to capture some absolutely stunning shots of the couple with St Paul's Cathedral in the background.

Megan and Alex then jumped on the bus with all their friends and family over to The Round Chapel in Hackney for their wedding reception. The atmosphere was fantastic and there was a lovely vibe in the air as the couple and their guests enjoyed champagne on route to The Round Chapel, Hackney. When we first arrived I spotted a fruit & veg shop over the road bursting with colour, I thought this would make an amazing shot. We position Megan and Alex next to the shop and as bystanders and cars passed it really bought the shot to life. (See more on the film) The wedding breakfast and speeches followed, with some heartfelt and also hilarious anecdotes, it was lovely to again use these as part of their narrative for their wedding film.

It was then time to party with Truly Meddly Deeply who absolutely smashed their sets. Guests were partying the night away on the dancefloor and the mood was electric. It was such a pleasure to capture this amazing London wedding and Megan & Alex were such a great couple to work with. See more of the film above!
