What a weekend I had filming Stephanie and Julien’s destination wedding in Normandy, France. The wedding was held at the gorgeous Chateau De Creully. A picturesque Chateau located in the small town of Creully in the Calvados département of France.
Stephanie and Julien chose the venue as it was close to Julien’s heart after spending a lot of time there as a child. The venue was so beautiful inside, with solid stone walls and arched windows. The light inside the Chateau was so contrasting, it was so inspiring to shoot.
Bridal preparations were held in an upstairs room of the Chateau, the ceremony and reception were held outside in the grounds. The day was a pleasure to film, everyone was in high spirits, oysters were served and the drinks flowed. Moving speeches were made from the father of the bride, groom and the best men. One of them even doing an impersonation of the groom himself.
