Lara and James’ wedding was held in Thornbury and Tetbury, their preparations and reception celebrations were at The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury and their wedding ceremony was at in Thornbury at Thornbury Church.
I arrived early to begin capturing their preparations at The Great Tythe Barn and was taken back by how stunning the location was. As soon as I saw the grounds I knew we would be in for some fantastic portraits. There was lots of beautiful patches of light beaming through the trees.
Bridal preparations began in the Manor House on the estate with Lara and her bridal party. The Manor House was full of lovely natural light and it was such a lovely setting for their preparations. James and the groomsmen were preparing close by in a cottage.
The wedding ceremony was held at Thornbury Church next to Thornbury Castle, which was such a grand old church. It really made for a fantastic setting for the wedding ceremony with its huge long elegant aisle. The atmosphere in the church with guests arriving was one of exciting, you could feel the buzz in the air.
