Cornwell Manor Wedding Videographer in the Cotswolds
Cornwell Manor is one of the most sought-after private estates in the Cotswolds, set within rolling countryside and offering complete privacy for multi-day celebrations. Weddings here are rarely confined to a single day. Guests arrive early, settle into the estate, and the atmosphere builds naturally across the weekend. This slower pace allows moments to unfold without pressure, creating space for something far more meaningful than a tightly scheduled timeline.
That is where I focus my attention. Not only on the ceremony or speeches, but on everything in between. The movement of guests through the estate, the quiet conversations, and the subtle shifts in energy throughout the day. These are the moments that shape how a wedding is remembered, and ultimately how it is experienced again through film.

THE WEDDING
Andy & Aurora’s Cornwell Manor Wedding
Andy and Aurora travelled from America with both sides of their family, choosing the Cotswolds for its landscape, privacy, and sense of escape. Their celebration began with a pre-event at Soho Farmhouse, which gave everyone time to come together and settle into the weekend. By the time the wedding day arrived, there was already a strong sense of connection among their guests.
Preparations took place inside the manor, where the interiors are bright and filled with natural light. Aurora’s morning felt calm and unhurried, which allowed for a candid and unobtrusive approach to filming. The focus remained on capturing real moments as they unfolded, without interruption or direction.
The ceremony was held outdoors in the gardens, set against the surrounding countryside. As the day unfolded, the weather shifted and rain began to fall. Rather than detracting from the experience, it added a softness and depth to the atmosphere. Guests gathered with umbrellas as Aurora made her way down a long aisle, surrounded by delicate florals that complemented the setting. The moment felt intimate, emotional, and entirely unique to them.
Following the ceremony, guests moved into the walled garden for cocktail hour. The pace of the day remained relaxed, with conversations flowing naturally as everyone transitioned into the next part of the celebration. Dinner was held in a marquee set within the grounds, allowing the landscape to remain part of the experience as the evening continued.
As night fell, the celebration shifted into the club room, where the energy changed completely. The music lifted, the dance floor filled, and the evening took on a different rhythm. This contrast between calm and celebration is what brings depth to a wedding film, allowing it to reflect the full experience of the day.

The venue
Filming at Cornwell Manor
Cornwell Manor offers a variety of spaces that naturally shape the flow of a wedding day. From the gardens used for ceremonies, to the walled garden for drinks, through to the marquee and club room for the evening, each transition introduces a different energy. This creates a rhythm that allows the story to develop organically.
I work with a small team to remain close to these moments without interrupting them. The approach is observational, with an emphasis on anticipation rather than direction. By understanding how the day is unfolding, it becomes possible to capture moments as they happen, rather than recreating them.
The goal is always to create a film that feels true to the experience of being there.

THE START
It always begins before the day itself. At Cornwell Manor, that sense of calm is already there. The privacy of the estate, the surrounding Cotswolds landscape, and the feeling of having everything in one place shapes how the weekend unfolds. The focus becomes understanding what this setting allows, and how your film reflects not just the day, but the experience of being there.

THE FLOW
Cornwell Manor moves with a natural rhythm across the estate. From preparations inside the house, to ceremonies in the gardens, drinks in the walled garden, and evenings in the marquee or club room, each part of the celebration connects effortlessly. I prepare by understanding that flow, how guests move through each space, how light settles across the grounds, and where moments will happen without being forced.

THE MOMENT
Once the day begins, nothing is directed. I move quietly through the space, observing how everything unfolds. At Cornwell Manor, that might mean a long walk through the gardens, umbrellas appearing as the weather shifts, or the stillness just before the ceremony begins. The obvious moments matter, but so does everything around them.

THE FEELING
What remains is not just a record of the day, but a return to it. The atmosphere of a Cornwell Manor weekend, the energy of your celebration, and the people who shaped it all come together in a film that feels immersive and lasting.

A Natural, Cinematic Approach
My approach combines a documentary style with a refined, cinematic finish. The focus remains on authenticity, allowing moments to unfold naturally while maintaining a strong sense of composition and attention to detail.
Andy and Aurora’s wedding was a clear reflection of this. Their relaxed approach allowed space for genuine interactions and subtle moments that often go unnoticed. These in-between moments are what give a film its depth, bringing it back to life in a way that feels both personal and lasting.
