The main hall inside Ashridge House is absolutely stunning, filled with beautiful statues, paintings and stunning staircases running down both left and right sides of the hall into one large staircase which is where the ceremony was set to be held.
Preparations begin in the main house with Pearl’s family and Thomas’ prepping close by. Once Pearl was wedding ready she had organised a lovely trip with a horse and carriage with her mother and father, a lovely touch prior to the ceremony with some away time with family.
Thomas in the meantime was greeting excited guests as they arrived in the main hall. The ceremony was to be held on the central staircase and once all of their guests were seated, Pearl made her entrance down the right side of the stairs to meet Thomas waiting on the central staircase. The ceremony had a number of beautiful readings from family and friends and the vibe was emotional throughout the wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony was completed their guests lined up and prepared for their confetti line. Guests were then ushered out onto the front gardens of Ashridge House, Pearl & Thomas then enjoyed a short time out with horse and carriage ride around the grounds of Ashridge House. It was a lovely moment as guests waved the couple off during the reception.
Whilst Pearl and Thomas were on their horse and carriage ride, guests made their way through into the main gardens around the back of the house, where they enjoyed some live harpists music, canapés and drinks. Pearl and Thomas returned to greet and mingle with the guests.
Speeches followed with some moving words from family and friends. We then headed out into the gardens to capture some lovely portraits of the couple. Evening guests started arriving and it was cake cutting time, followed by the first dance. A fantastic day with a lovely couple at an absolutely stunning venue, we had such a great time.
